We want our officials to be as safe as possible, but injuries can occur during the games we officiate. For this reason, all registered officials are covered by Hockey Canada insurance for sanctioned Hockey Canada games and events.

Injury Report Process
If you are injured during a game or sanctioned event, you will need to fill out and submit an injury report following the process.
1. Download the injury form.
2. Fill out the form completely with all information. Please make sure that the physician and/or dentist portion is completed. Submitting a form that is incomplete can slow down the process.
3. Notify your local association RIC or Zone Officiating Director of your injury and submit your form to them.
4. Your local RIC or Zone Officiating Director will review your form to look for any issues before submitting to our provincial Technical Director.
5. If there are any issues with your form once submitted, you will be contacted with questions.
