Game Sheets
Game sheets in Minor Hockey vary by the league. Some leagues use standard paper game sheets, others have moved to the Gamesheet Inc iPad app.
If the league does use the iPad app please make sure after the game is complete you review the gamesheet closely before signing. There is an option within the app to email yourself a copy of the gamesheet should you need to submit a GIR. Do NOT submit GIRs through the gamesheet app.
Game Incident Reports (GIRs)
Submission for GIRs in Minor Hockey vary by zone. Please speak with your local association officiation director (RIC) to understand how you should be submitting your GIRs.
They MUST be submitted within 24 hours of the game.
We recommend that officials speak to their Association RIC to be aware of any rules specific to the Minor Hockey leagues they work within. Officials should also speak to their Association RIC for the rules around any tournament games they work on, as there may be rule modifications made for those games (for example, mercy rules, time-out rules, overtime rules/shoot-out rules).
